Soooooo...
The hubby and myself are going to Mary Land for
CHRISTMAS!
I'm actually pretty excited.
I love my MIL & FIL
:)
And I know that he misses his family.
Maybe it will even snow!!!
How cool would that be!?!?
I can't remember the last time I had a white Christmas...
If ever!
So yeah I'm excited.
oh, and I was right...
I didn't get ANY shopping done.
Story of my life.
********
Well I guess I will jump on the
"I'm Thankful For..."
Band wagon.
Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone...
Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone...
Sunday during Primary
(yes, I'm a primary teacher... we team teach the 11 year olds)
I was asked what I am grateful for.
As I sat and thought
"What am I grateful for?"
A few thoughts trickled into me head...
My Family.
My True Friends.
A few other things came to my mind...
and then some different ones
My God.
My Savior.
The Gospel.
The Atonement.
Basically the spiritual aspect of things.

Basically the spiritual aspect of things.
My choice was the Gospel...
For many different reasons.
But that isn't the point of my story.
My thoughts kept going after I gave my answer...
In the last few years I've experienced some scary things.
That could have taken my life.
So I am grateful to be
Alive.
That my heart beats and air fills my lungs.
I don't fear death.
I know that I will be with my Father in heaven and my Savior.
And that I will see and be with my family again.
But my thanks is that I am able to be on this earth a little longer.
Now,
after I was asked that question my husband was asked the same one...
But his answer spoke volumes to me,
even if he didn't mean it that way.
He said that he was grateful for my patience.
That is something I have been working on for some time now.
Most definitely the thing that I am grateful for next to being alive is my
Wonderful.
Amazing.
Loving.
Kind.
Strong.
Tender.
and the most patient person ever.
Is my dear sweet Husband.
He is my world.
I can't imagine going through what I've been through without him.
He is my Knight in Shining Armor.
The Love of my Life.
Mr. Perfectly Imperfect.
And My Best Friend.
I Love Him
more than anything.
My favorite time for us together is laying in bed snuggling.
People may say we spend to much time together...
I say there is no such thing as too much time.
I Love my Eternal Companion more and more every day.
:)

Now,
CHRISTMAS!
Can you believe how close it is?
I'm SOOOOO ready.
Yet,
I'm not ready AT ALL!
At work our Christmad decor is up
The Christmas music is playing...
I AM SO EXCITED!!!
I do love Christmas.
I've started on Gary's side of the family's presents...
I was very anxious about all of it
I hope that they like them.
I've also started following a TON of crafting blogs...
I LOVE IT!
I've gotten so many cute and cheap craft ideas for the holidays.
I'M EXCITED.
I've turned my guest bedroom into my craft room.
have I mentioned I'm EXCITED?
I'll post pictures and all that when I get it to look the way I want it to
:)
Well I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is getting ready for Christmas!
Remember the true meaning of Christmas as it gets closer.
